About Carol Van Horn
I graduated from Keuka College in Penn Yan, New York with a B.S. degree in Early Childhood Education. In 1975 my husband and I came to the Finger Lakes Region to raise our children in this beautiful area. I taught Pre-School in Geneva for 18 years.
I received my Real Estate License in 1983 and my Broker's License in the early 1990's.
I have successfully marketed many of the upscale homes in the Geneva area for the past 10 years. I have been the recipient of the Coldwell Banker International Diamond Society Award for Productivity in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007. This award is given to agents in the top 13% internationally. I have also received the Sales Master Award for Productivity from the Rochester Association of Realtors in 2000, 2003, 2005 and 2006 and 2007. I received the Pinnacle Award from the Womens Council of Realtors, the Rochester Chapter in 2002. In 2006 I earned the Coldwell Banker designation of Previews International Specialist for marketing premier properties.

There are many qualities and skills that go into being an excellent real estate professional - integrity, in-depth community and market knowledge, marketing savvy, effective negotiation skills and a high-quality professional network, all of which are hallmarks of how I work.
That said, in my experience as a real estate professional, I've also found that providing the very best service is essentially about putting my clients first. This means keeping myself accessible, being a good listener as well as a good communicator, and responding quickly to your needs.

In addition, I've found that the latest technologies are enabling me to do everything I've always done, only much more quickly and efficiently.
